Numerical Solution of The Parabolic Equations by Variational Iteration Method and Radial Basis Functions

‎In this work‎, ‎we consider the parabolic equation‎: ‎$u_t-u_{xx}=0$‎. ‎The purpose of this paper is to introduce the method of‎ ‎variational iteration method and radial basis functions for‎ ‎solving this equation‎. ‎Also, the method is implemented to three‎ ‎numerical examples‎. ‎The results reveal‎ ‎that the technique is very effective and simple.

FUZZY INTEGRO-DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS: DISCRETE SOLUTION AND ERROR ESTIMATION

This paper investigates existence and uniqueness results for the first order fuzzy integro-differential equations. Then numerical results and error bound based on the left rectangular quadrature rule, trapezoidal rule and a hybrid of them are obtained. Finally an example is given to illustrate the performance of the methods.

Numerical solution of functional integral equations by using B-splines

This paper describes an approximating solution, based on Lagrange interpolation and spline functions, to treat functional integral equations of Fredholm type and Volterra type. This method can be extended to functional differential and integro-differential equations. For showing efficiency of the method we give some numerical examples.
